On July 1, 2008, Catholic Social Services changed our name
back to Catholic Charities, our original name. This change allows us to join efforts with
Catholic Charities USA for national branding. However, all operations stay the same with all
donations being used locally as they are intended.

Catholic Charities SouthWestern Ohio responds to the teachings of Christ by providing
services to advance the human dignity & welfare of people in need.

Catholic Charities is committed to improve the
quality of life for people; engaging community support; and keeping a
particular commitment to serving families and those most vulnerable.
BELIEFS
Children should grow up in a loving and nurturing environment.
Families are the cornerstone of society and need help to fulfill their responsibility to provide care and instill values.
Providing help and compassion to the poor and vulnerable.
Elderly should be able to live with dignity.
Advocating for change in systems that cause human suffering.

| The Springfield Service Center of
Catholic Charities
is a member of the Feeding America Network. It is a
network of more than 200 foodbanks and food rescue organizations
nationwide that gets food to hungry children and families who need
it most. Feeding America is the nation's largest non-governmental,
domestic hunger relief organization. |

| Our Springfield's
Second Harvest Foodbank is also a member of the Ohio Association
of Second Harvest Foodbanks. Our foodbank receives fresh produce
annually through the Ohio Food Purchase Program and the Ohio
Agricultural Surplus Production Alliance. |

Annual Luncheon
Catholic Charities' Annual Luncheon is held at the Springfield Country Club.
Awards and recognition is given to key donors, organizations, staff, and associated agencies that contributed to our success in the
previous year. This year, due to economic conditions, the Annual Luncheon has been postponed. The date of the luncheon is yet to be determined. Check back frequently for updates.
