OUR MISSION STATEMENT
Catholic Social Services of Southwest Ohio, an agency of the Archdiocese
of Cincinnati, exists to enhance the well being of people by providing
unmatched services and our vision is to be recognized as the community
leader helping people in need.
At the heart of our organization are these core values:

works to identify community concerns and provide programs and services

is a member of Catholic Charities USA. The national organization
provides leadership, advocacy and technical assistance to 1,640 independant
local agencies and organizations across the United States. |

| Catholic Social Services of Springfield
is a member of America's Second Harvest Foodbank Network. It is a
network of more than 200 foodbanks and food rescue organizations
nationwide that gets food to hungry children and families who need
it most. America's Second Harvest is the nation's largest non-governmental,
domestic hunger relief organization. |

| Catholic Social Services of Springfield's
Second Harvest Foodbank is also a member of the Ohio Association
of Second Harvest Foodbanks. Our foodbank received over 551,475 pounds
of food in 2007 through the Ohio Food Purchase Program and the Ohio
Agricultural Surplus Production Alliance. |
